OPENING–CLOSING BRIDGE PROJECT

A Bridge That Allows Ships to Pass

Due to the increasing size of cargo ships, the dimensions of strait bridges have become
insufficient. Since large-scale structures pose risks, we designed a smaller but functional
and practical project. Thanks to this project, large cargo ships will be able to operate more
easily in international trade.
Purpose of the Project:
To facilitate maritime trade
To prevent the disruption of highway transportation
To ensure continuity in international trade

Materials Used in the Project:
Geared motor
Resistor
Transistor
4-pin push button
Cable
9V alkaline battery
Soldering machine
Silicone gun
Nail
Rope, pulley, wooden skewers, wooden strips, drill, scissors, poster board, cardboard

Benefits of the Opening–Closing Bridge:
Large ships can pass through the strait easily
Trade volume expands
Road traffic decreases

Conclusion:
Seas are the greatest wealth of our country. This project prevents the need to fill seas for
highway transportation purposes. Trade gains continuity without ever being obstructed.
